With the rising college costs every year, it is imperative to put together a realistic savings plan for meeting those educational costs. Financial Plus created a special College Club with you in mind. This club runs from July 1 through June 30 of the following year and offers two plans.
Plan I pays high daily dividends which are compounded and paid monthly. You have ten days after June 30 to withdraw the savings from your College Club, or the money stays in this club and continues to earn high dividends.
Plan II is a Certificate Program in which you have the option of investing your College Club money into a Small Savers certificate (minimum of $500), or a 91 day to 60 month certificate (minimum of $1,000), which all pay a higher rate of interest. Upon maturity of the certificate(s), you have ten (10) days to withdraw the money from the certificate, or it will be rolled over into the same certificate, and pay the current interest rate at the time of renewal. Check the rate board for current rates.
