Career Fairs

Financial Plus takes part in several Career Fairs throughout our field of membership. Career fairs are usually 8^th grade level through HS. A handout of FPCU job qualifications is handed to each student, along with a chance to win prizes with our fun prize wheel. Our Financial Literacy specialist takes one to two branch employees with her, so that the student has a familiar face when coming in to open a new account. Students have many questions regarding FPCU jobs.

Family Fairs

Our Financial Literacy specialist and a small team of FPCU branch employees will set up a booth to promote Financial Wellness. We make sure all ages are represented from our Youth Clubs to all our services. We have handouts and giveaways to make this a fun interactive way for potential members to join FPCU. Wiley Wabbit will make an appearance at these functions.

Tours

We have always enjoyed giving tours of our Financial Plus Credit Union locations. This gives students or young adults the opportunity to see each department at work and learn what it is they do for the credit union. We show them where they would go for specific banking needs. This tour is to facilitate knowledge and comfort for our next generation. All schools and organizations are welcome to schedule a tour!

There is a small activity at the end with a gift.

This tour takes 30 to 40 minutes.
