Debit and Credit Card Fraud Text Alerts

Your financial security is a top priority for us and now we're able to help protect you with real time fraud text alerts. You now have added protection from fraud and merchant compromises. Please verify Financial Plus Credit Union has your correct cell phone number on file.

In the past, when suspicious transactions occurred (such as purchases in unexpected places), we would contact you with a phone call. The same protection is now provided through text messaging. You will be able to respond to let our fraud prevention team know if a transaction is legitimate or fraudulent.

Text alerts will be sent from Financial Plus Credit Union Fraud Center short code 37268, and will include a call back phone number of 877-273-5740.

If you DO NOT want to enroll in receiving Debit or Credit Card Fraud Alerts, reply “STOP” to cancel when you receive the text message.

Once enrolled, if a transaction is flagged as suspicious, you will receive a text message informing you of the transaction. You will be given the opportunity to respond to the text message to indicate if the transaction was authorized or fraudulent.
